Guest Speaker: Bob Spotnitz, President of Battery Design LLC
Industry expert and leading battery system modeler Bob
Spotnitz will present
the models that are available for the electro-chemistry of
Li-ion cells. He will
be joined by Richard Johns, Automotive Director at
CD-adapco, who will
describe the combined flow-thermal-electrochemistry
capability that will be
available in STAR-CCM+ and the engineering process necessary
to make
realistic calculations of large-scale battery installations.
