Description: |
Join us for a complimentary 1 hour web seminar where our
featured speakers will present advanced, high fidelity CFD
modeling techniques to predict and analyze wind turbine
aerodynamics, loads, wake propagation, aeroacoustics,
aeroelasticity and fluid/structure interaction (FSI).
Applications of these technologies will be presented on
simulations ranging in size from simple wind tunnel tests
to modern utility scale rotors. In addition to the detailed
blade/rotor/tower simulations, state-of-the-art techniques
for analyzing the power output of candidate wind park
locations will be presented.
The benefits of using CFD simulation in the wind energy
design process will be discussed. The wealth of insight
provided by the CFD simulations gives designers and
engineers the opportunity to rapidly investigate advanced
design concepts and establish the improvements in
efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness that are
required to propel wind power technology into the future.
All simulations utilize and showcase ACUSIM Software's
premier finite element based CFD flow solver, AcuSolve.
AcuSolve's robustness, speed, and accuracy enable the use
of advanced CFD simulation capabilities to increase the
reliability and profitability of wind power in the United
States and Worldwide.
