OpenFOAM-1.6-ext advanced course.
Over the two days, attendees will be involved in an advanced course summarized as advanced OpenFOAM features, programming sessions and half day clinic.

FIRST DAY:

Overview of OpenFOAM structure
Five basic classes in detail:
 	Space and Time
 	Computational Mesh
 	Field Variable
 	Matrix and Linear System
	Discretisation Method

Dynamic mesh features in OpenFOAM: automatic mesh motion and
topological changes; dynamic mesh classes.
Theory, implementation and use of General Grid Interface
(GGI) features in turbomachinery simulations.
Hands-on session: GGI in practise
Programming in OpenFOAM: implementation of function objects;
a new boundary condition; adding physical model to run-time
selection tables.

SECOND DAY CLINIC:
 
The attendees are asked to bring their day-to-day problems
on the laptops. 

This session will be hands-on. The tutor will be available
to help and answer specific questions.  The clinic aims to
provide valuable insights on  how to tackle your problems in
OpenFOAM.

Printed course material would be provided. 

For hands-on examples, users can use a laptop with a working
OpenFOAM installation, the attendee should bring his own
laptop. Upon request* and without additional cost attendees
will be provided with a Gompute account and a fund of 100
CPU hours for using OpenFOAM on a large parallel computer.
