Workshop on Computational Fluid Dynamics Applications in Power Plant and Industries

This workshop covers invited lectures on basic understanding
of meshing and CFD analysis followed by the lectures on the
recent advances in CFD and the case studies in the power
plant and industries. The workshop will enable the
participants to become knowledgeable about the best
practices in handling CFD and better way to solve their own
problem in the industry.

modeling, mesh generation and case studies in respect of
power plant and industries. Renowned experts in the area of
CFD have been invited to give lectures on various topics.This
program benefits the CFD application engineers, academicians
and students. The participants can also present papers on

• Concepts of grid generation, solving partial differential
equations and physical models in CFD
• Recent advances in CFD simulations
The CFD approach, modelling and case studies on:
• Performance optimization and design of power plant and
industry components
• Combustion/gasification, turbulence models, etc
• Turbo machineries
• Wear and erosion modeling of mill and other power plant
components.
• Flow modeling of fluid and solid transport in cyclones,
ESP, etc
