The Academic Track Event is planned with the following
objectives
• Showcase advanced capabilities of STAR-CCM+ and
use of STAR-CCM+ for diverse industrial applications
o Presentation by our global sector managers on
automotive, aerospace, chemical, civil engineering problems
• Facilitate a forum to understand the state of art
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) that happens in academic
institutions in India
o Participation and presentation by key academicians
from different institutions like IIT’s, IISc, NIT’s and
reputed private engineering colleges
• Provide a discussion forum on the following topics
(Panel members include representatives from some of the
biggest multi-national companies and distinguished faculty
members from different institutions)
o Industry-Academia partnership
o Introduction of CFD in curriculum: Challenges and
Opportunities
The event offers opportunity to meet and interact with
fellow academics working on CFD in India. It also gives you
an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with
developers, support staff and global sector managers as
well as experienced users of our software from the
industry/academia to understand how our products and
solutions meets the specific needs of your application.
The Academic Track of STAR Indian Conference will be held
on November 1st in the Banquet Hall of the ITC Gardenia
Hotel in Bangalore, India
We strongly encourage students/faculties involved in CFD
