Free Webinar: Co-Simulation for More Accurate Modeling and Improved Product & System Designs
This online event will explore how Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) has been gaining popularity to understand how fluids and structures interact with each other, and ultimately how engineers can perform more accurate simulations. Several approaches to FSI, including co- simulation with other leading software solutions, will be shown.

Companies are under increasing pressure to bring innovative products and systems to market at a reduced cost. To achieve this, engineering teams have been using simulation to predict the functional performance of systems before they are built. Traditionally, due to model complexity and the need for specific skills, this has been done considering only one type of physics at a time, for example Structural Mechanics & Fluid Mechanics or a single dimension (1D) for large, complex systems to get results quickly.

This online event will explore how Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) has been gaining popularity to understand how fluids and structures interact with each other, and ultimately how engineers can perform more accurate simulations. Several approaches to FSI, including co- simulation with other leading software solutions, will be shown.

In addition, presenters will discuss how large, complex systems such as oil & gas pipelines, hydraulics, and pneumatics can benefit by coupling 1D & 3D simulations. Co- simulation techniques will be shown to demonstrate how engineers can address these challenges and strike a balance between accuracy and speed by coupling sophisticated 3D flow simulation with 1D flow simulation provided by partner codes.

Please join us to unravel the mystery of co-simulation and learn how to improve product performance. Examples across various industry segments will be shown.
