Description: |
This course has been designed for delegates with no
previous CFD experience; it is useful for designers moving
into the field of computational fluid dynamics.
Understanding the basics will help you get the most out of
CAD based CFD programs as well as dedicated and open source
software.
It is assumed that:
- The user does not have any previous experience and is
predominantly from a design engineering background.
- The user has enough engineering expertise to evaluate
analysis results and determine if they are reasonable.
The course is also useful to engineers who need to write
specifications for fluid dynamics projects and will help
interpret and check the results at the conclusion of these
projects.
Agenda
The following schedule of lectures is interspersed with a
series of related workshops, which reinforce the lecture
