Lattice-Boltzmann Methods (LBM) became recently a very
powerful tool for engineering in Computational FLuid
Dynamics. They represent a very efficicent competitor to
Mavier-Stokesbased Tools. This course aim at presenting the
fundamental of LBM(day 1) and state-of-the-art applications
for engineering problems issued from major industrial
companies(Airbus, Renautl,...) Examples will illustrate
application in different fields: aerodynamics, acoustics,
and heat transfer
Speakers
Prof. Pierre Sagaut, Aix-Marseille Universite, Marseille, France
Dr Julien Favier, Aix-Marseille Universite, Marseille, France
Mr Elias Tannoury, CS, France
Mr Romain Denis, EXA Corp., France
