Lattice-Boltzmann Methods (LBM) became recently a very
powerful tool for engineering in Computational Fluid
Dynamics. They represent a very efficient competitor to
Mavier-Stokes based tools. This course aim at presenting the
fundamental of LBM, and state-of-the-art applications for
engineering problems issued from major industrial
companies(Airbus, Renault,...) Examples will illustrate
application in different fields: aerodynamics, acoustics,
and heat transfer.
