This course covers rotor dynamics analyses and bearings
simulation for different types of rotors. Rotor dynamics
fundamentals, basic design rules and analyses according
API and other standards, bearing simulation aspects are
explained. Theoretical section is supported with examples
of real rotor-bearing systems and exercises with
AxSTREAMTM Turbomachinery design suit on lateral and
torsional rotor dynamics which gives practical
understanding in considered topics. Attendees will be
able to investigate rotor vibration problems and avoid
potential troubles of rotating machinery.
