Description: | |
The fifth international conference on Simulations in Biomedicine is an internationally recognised forum for disseminating the latest bioengineering research and its applications. The conference topics will cover a broad spectrum including the application of computers to simulate biomedical phenomena. Current medical and biological technology already appears like science fiction. Projections for advances in the 21st century are already more ambitious and will transform medical care and treatment. This is in great part due to the result of the interaction between medical sciences and engineering. These advances will result in substantial progress in health care and in the quality of life of the population. This meeting aims to bring together medical, physical scientists and engineers who are interested in the latest developments on simulations in medicine. It will also be relevant to professionals working in medical enterprises, which are actively involved in this field.
