Description: | |
INTRODUCTION The success of the first international conference on multiphase flow, held at the University of Central Florida in 2001, has led to the reconvening of the meeting in Santa Fe in 2003. Fluid dynamics is a main topic of applied mathematics and physics, with its study being one of the most challenging areas of computational mechanics. The simulation of fluid dynamic problems is always a serious test to any numerical method, in particular when dealing with complex non-linear transient problems. In addition, if the fluid interface (or interfaces) is unknown or moves throughout the flow process, as in the case of multiphase flow , the problem becomes more computationally demanding due to the initial indeterminacy of a surface where boundary or matching conditions have to be satisfied. The conference will focus on new advanced numerical methods and computer architectures, which greatly improve the ability to solve complex multiphase flow problems. WHO SHOULD ATTEND Researchers and engineers who wish to communicate recent advances in computational multiphase flow and to demonstrate how these numerical tools can be applied in engineering and technology practices. BENEFITS TO YOU Keep up-to-date on the latest advances in the field. Present your research within a unique forum. Collaborate with experts from around the world. Immediate publication of your research, if your paper is accepted. The conference book is distributed at the time of Registration. Your research work will be publicised internationally. Santa
Fe is the capital of New Mexico, the third largest city in the
state with a population of 60,000. Although the city's history
spans almost 400 years, Santa Fe is relatively unknown. Its attractions
include a rocky mountain climate and geography and the cultural
diversity that is created by the mix of Native American, Hispanic
and European traditions. The beauty of the surrounding areas,
which includes vast acres of National Forest, can be enjoyed for
its outdoor recreational activities as well as its beautiful scenery
and interesting places to visit. TOPICS
