About this Free Solid Edge 2020 Workshop
Solid Edge Synchronous CAD modeling tool will be
demonstrated in this free workshop. With the new
professional feature, Design engineers, Manufacturers
alike who are currently using Solidworks can improve the
speed & accuracy of CAD modeling, and easily perform the
process of Engineering development from Concept to Final
product.
This workshop will dive into new features in Solid Edge
2020, such as augmented reality (AR), expanded validation
tools, model-based definition, 2D Nesting and extensive
enhancements to core computer-aided design (CAD)
capabilities, which can be used to enhance collaboration
and fully digitalize the design-to-manufacturing process,
unlike other CAD Platforms such as Solidworks Software.
* A professional CAD modeling project will be provided to
follow along during the webinar!
No prior knowledge or Solid Edge 2020 software is
required to join this webinar.

Edge Simulation Capabilities from Siemens Digital
Industries provides next-generation technologies that
solve today’s toughest product development challenges.
With new features such as augmented reality (AR),
expanded validation tools, model-based definition, 2D
Nesting and extensive enhancements to core computer-aided
design (CAD) capabilities, Solid Edge 2020 can be used
to enhance collaboration and fully digitalize the design-
to-manufacturing process.
Achieve substantial performance gains (up to 10 times
faster workflows) from other Solidworks resellers with
new high-performance mode and automatic activation as
assembly size grows
*
Build complex 3D sheet metal models more easily using
enhanced lofted flanges and unique bend bulge relief
capabilities in a 3D CAD environment
*
Provide new photorealistic rendering with Keyshot 8.1
integration, which supports customer requests for cut
aways
*
Simplify data migration of 3D models and 2D drawings from
other industry software, including SolidWorks, PTC Creo
Elements Direct, Solidworks Flow Simulation, PTC Creo
Parametric (or Pro/ENGINEER), AutoDesk Inventor and
AutoCAD, into Solid Edge
Who Should Register
*
Design Engineers, Engineering Consultants, Industrial
Designers who need a Digital Visualization tool to
communicate and translate their ideas to life from
concept to 3D models.
*
Users who have found it hard or impossible to incorporate
Solidworks Simulation add-ons, Solidworks CFD or CAD
modeling tool in their daily workflow
*
Users who want to explore CAD solutions that can help
them realize significant gains in manufacturing
productivity using model-based definition.
