Description: |
RTO-AVT-VKI Lecture Series
Continued interest in the development of hypersonic flight vehicles is based on their potential for lowering the cost of access to space and for revolutionizing intercontinental civil and military transport. However, successful realization of these vehicles requires new developments for several critical technology areas. This Lecture Series will present the perspectives of international experts on current and future trends in such critical technologies as advanced propulsion concepts, thermal protection systems, real gas phenomena and vehicle dynamics and control.
