Description: |
This one day seminar organized by the Fire & Safety
Division of Engineers Ireland (the Institution of Engineers
of Ireland) will focus on the practical aspects and
challenges of applying Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
models in fire safety engineering.
The presentations cover good practice of computer fire
modelling, validation of CFD models, interesting case
studies, problems encountered by fire authorities assessing
designs based on CFD modelling etc.
The seminar is addressed to fire safety engineers,
representatives of local authorities and regulators. It
will be an opportunity for those interested in the
use of CFD models in fire safety engineering to share
