Description: |
This Lecture Series is organized within the EWA (European Wind Tunnel Association) Network of Excellence in collaboration with the Delft University of Technology. It aims at presenting the state-of-the-art of advanced measuring techniques particularly suited to supersonic flows. The present potential of Molecular Tagging Velocimetry, a non-intrusive technique that does not need particles as tracers, will be presented and future perspectives will be discussed. The present capabilities of other non-intrusive techniques such as PIV, DGV and BOS will also be presented and examples of applications in supersonic flows will be discussed.
