The aim of the EUA4X 2005 Annual Conference is to provide a forum for the discussion of the latest developments of computational technologies for industry and to broaden their application to many other computation-oriented areas. The EUA4X 2005 Annual Conference will be hosted by the International Conference on CAE and Computational Technologies for Industry TCN CAE 2005.

The aim of the EUA4X 2005 Annual Conference is to provide a forum for the discussion of the latest developments of computational technologies for industry and to broaden their application to many other computation-oriented areas. Five plenary sessions will illustrate current and future scenarios in Computational Mechanics, Multidisciplinary Optimisation, Process Simulation (with a special emphasis on food and agriculture), Computational Material Science, and Computational Medicine & Biotechnology to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology between research centres and industry on a European and global scale. Furthermore, the program of the EUA4X Annual Conference includes enabling technology sessions that will deal with formulations, solution procedures, and validation of computational technologies.
Participants will have the opportunity for meeting inspirational leaders in the academia and for networking with other talented researchers and professionals.
