Jonas Larsson
I am 51 years old and live in Sweden with my wife, our sixteen year old son, and our 6-year old Labrador dog.
Since 1998 I work for GKN Aerospace (previously Volvo Aero), where I am a CFD and aero-design specialist, focusing on turbomachinery applications. In the last 10 years I have worked mainly with aero-design of components for civil aero-engines.
I have a PhD from Chalmers University, where I worked on heat-transfer simulations in supersonic space turbines. I left Chalmers in 1998. In 2009 I was appointed Docent in Thermo and Fluid Dynamics at Chalmers University. In 2017 I was appointed Technical Fellow at GKN.
